Well presented and exceptional value for money
Bombay Delight is the latest arrival on the vivacious Indian Restaurant scene in central Nottingham’s golden mile of curry houses on Maid Marian Way.
The focus of this smallish restaurant is tasty desi style comfort food that is exceptional value for money. The food is well presented as you can see from my photo.

Sensational opening offer
We decided to take advantage of their sensational opening offer: poppadums and pickles, starter and main with free drinks all for £11.95 and a 20% discount! We had Hot meat, tandoori chicken, lamb jalfrezi and chicken madras.
I can tell you that the food was well flavoured and the jalfrezi and madras were punchy and fairly hot. The naan was well made and fresh.
They weren’t stingy with their drinks either. I asked for a small glass of their house white and was presented with an individual 187ml of Stowells. Extremely generous.
The menu offers the usual range of Anglo Indian dishes: balti, vindaloo, rogan josh, korma etc. in the range £6 – £8.50 with rice or naan included. Starters are all £3.00.

Smart Interior
The restaurant itself was smart and clean and it was nice to see that they were using proper table linen, and nice glassware and crockery.
Bombay Delight is a great addition to the range of restaurants available on Maid Marian Way. I imagine that it may well be in competition with Chutney for the late eating crowd.

This is my second visit to this restaurant and it didnt disappoint. The food came out hot the service was good and the price was great value for money, The total price for our 3 course meal and drinks came to £43!!! i could not have got a take away for that. The only minor points are that it is not well signed outside and the toilets could do with spruce up. but when you weigh up the service and food against these minor points i would recommend a visit.

Lovely food and friendly staff. Would love to go there everyday, but unfortunately cannot. It is much more better than mem sab and chutney, have to say! My fave restautant. Love the new reshmi kebab, everyone, you have got to try it out it is just delicious
