10th Ruddington Beer Fest
White Horse Beer Festival Thursday May 31 – Monday June4
I think that the beer list on the festival website might be last year’s….
9th Ruddington Beer Fest
The Ruddington Beer Festival takes place in the first week in June each year. According to the organisers, the Ruddfest is quite an event. The information available is impressive and I for one intend to set aside some time to visit next summer.
According to the Festival website:
“This will be the 9th Ruddington Beer Festival with the theme this year of promoting Micro Breweries from around Great Britain. The starting point was a list produced by Keith Protz (editor of the Good Beer Guide) listing his 50 favourite ales from microbreweries. We’re working to source as many as these as possible, although we’re restricted by limited output, availability and the logistics of getting them delivered to Ruddington. However we will supplement this first batch with some of our favourites and less well known breweries. The aim is to have over 75 beers, ciders and perrys spread across the three pubs.”

The beer festival was spread over 3 different pubs in Ruddington, The White Horse, The Three Crowns and The Red Heart each with their own beers, entertainment and food.
If you’ve got time, drop by the Victoria Tavern, it’s a shame to miss it out as its a wonderful old pub.
If you get tired of real ale, checkout the museums, shown on this map with blue markers.
